Mama and Papa Tigers

Erick Acedo - Marina

Growing up near the bay area, I have always loved the outdoors and rain. I am an only child (which can be super lonely, but I don’t have to deal w/annoying siblings. Just kidding) it’s good to know that I can look at Key Club as another family. I love to meet new people, make YouTube Vids, make everyone’s day, and to share advice and jokes about life! Ever since I’ve I joined Key Club, it’s been a whole new ball game and I’ve gained so much knowledge about responsibility and leadership. I know that it’s going to be a rough road along the way to serve Division 43, but I know that this family can maintain a strong bond so we can serve our community. I’m proud to serve my roaring Tigers and this term is going to be filled with memories and will never be forgotten. I’m extremely excited to get to know everyone!

Ben Bence - Monterey

My name is Ben Bence and I am the president of Monterey highs key club. Ever since I was a kid I practically grew up in nature, or on the ocean almost everyday of the summer whether it was hiking, kayaking, swimming or just sitting on the beach. When I got older I wanted to do all I could to protect our world. I started volunteering with marine life studies doing whale research, education and conservation as well leading trash cleanups. Last summer I joined the teen conservation leaders program to volunteer at the Monterey Bay Aquarium and this summer I will be a coach to work with, train, and mentor the new teen volunteers. I joined key club to make a positive difference on my community and meet people with the same interests

Vineha Ramesh - Scotts Valley

My name is Vineha and I'm a sophomore at Scotts Valley High School. I play the ukulele and my favorite color is navy blue. I play basketball and tennis throughout the year, enjoy hanging out with my friends, and travelling around the world with my family. I'm in Key Club because I enjoy participating in service events and having a positive impact on the community! As president of SV's key club, I'm hoping to get our club involved in service projects around the country and worldwide through organizations such as Rustic Pathways.

Maura White - Seaside

My name is Maura White, and I am the Seaside High School Key Club President. I am foremost a student, but I also play Varsity Volleyball, act as Drum Major for our school band, and participate in other clubs such as Chess Club and National Honors Society. In my free time I love to paint and write, and my favorite food are potatoes. I became involved in Key Club because I genuinely missed doing community service, and Key Club created an outlet with which I could become involved in the community. Now, as a leader within the club, I aim to see our club and community thrive.
